Why I created HealthyWolf
I grew up in a small village in Ukraine. My parents had no money, so at 14 I started working with my father on a construction site. Sometimes all day, sometimes I'd show up after school. I carried bricks, plastered and sanded walls.
While other kids played, I worked. When others got computers, there was no money to buy me one. But my older brother had a pile of books: psychology, science, how a human being works. And I read them. I couldn't afford a phone either — I carried an old push-button Siemens with an antenna. At school they joked that their grandmothers had phones like that.
At 16 I moved to a bigger city, to my brother — he was starting a business in marble and marble fireplaces. I stood in the workshop with the workers: sanding marble, installing fireplaces. I started earning 600 dollars a month — not bad for my age. I'd come home tired in the evening and think: who am I going to be? What do I do next?
At 17, like every guy, I fell in love. A year or two — and a breakup. A lot of people suffer at that point, take revenge, badmouth each other. I took my own approach. From the books I knew: a strong emotional blow isn't just "feeling sad". When we're upset and hurting, the brain burns a huge amount of energy — the body works like it's on a hard shift. So yes, I was upset — but I understood clearly why, and what was happening to me. And since the body was running a deficit, I started with the body. Vitamins. The gym, regularly. One month — and everything fell back into place.
It wasn't willpower that helped me. What helped was understanding the processes inside — why these emotions, where the energy goes, what to do about it. Not "help, she left me" — but knowledge. I pulled my mind back up through my body.
That experience — the early work and the scarcity — made me who I am. And I'm grateful for it. I started to understand the world. And I understood the main thing: a person who understands what's happening to them is in control of themselves.
After that I bought marble with my own earnings, slowly grew the business, started making money. But making money for the sake of money never interested me. I always thought: I'll build myself a lab, like Tony Stark's — and study longevity, psychology, body chemistry, sport.
I bought a car, got married, started making plans for life. And then the war began. Everything I'd built over 15 years stayed behind in Ukraine. I arrived in Europe with two thousand dollars. You know what I felt? Like I was 16 again — and life was saying: start over, bro. Only now — with years of experience behind me.
I looked into different businesses, thought about what to do. And every path led to the same place. When, in an ordinary conversation, I explained to people how their mind or body works, they'd ask me — sometimes joking, sometimes not: "Can I sign up for a course with you?"
That's how HealthyWolf was born. It's my lab. Now it's open to everyone.
